One of the most notable attractions is the Seamus Heaney Homeplace which is a short drive away from our hotel. The interactive exhibition takes visitors through the life and work of Heaney, with the late poet’s voice leading you through the displays. A stone’s throw away from the Homeplace museum is St Mary’s Church Bellaghy where Heaney chose as his final resting place.
